The TTi Thermal Test Laboratory provides production-grade environmental testing services using
TotalTemp Technologies thermal platforms.
Our focus is on repeatable, well-documented thermal and thermal vacuum (TVAC) testing for
engineering development, qualification, and small-batch screening.
TTi operates a controlled thermal test laboratory configured around modern thermal chambers,
precision controllers, and automated data acquisition. Customers may submit units under test (UUTs) for:
Each test campaign is executed under a written procedure, with traceable configuration records,
calibrated instrumentation, and structured reporting suitable for engineering and compliance documentation.
TTi offers thermal testing as a service for customers who do not wish to own or operate chambers directly.
Typical engagements include:
For each project, TTi collaborates with the customer to define:
TTi’s Thermal Vacuum (TVAC) small test service is intended for components and assemblies that
require exposure to combined temperature and reduced-pressure environments representative of
high-altitude or space applications.
TVAC small tests are scoped for components and subassemblies within the physical and thermal limits
of the available chambers. Larger or higher-risk articles may require separate review.
| Tier | Description | Typical Use |
|---|---|---|
| Baseline Thermal Cycle | Fixed cycles between two setpoints with standard monitoring. | Screening of electronic or mechanical components. |
| Instrumented Development Test | Custom profile with additional thermocouples and detailed logging. | Prototype evaluation and design verification. |
| TVAC Small Test Campaign | Combined thermal and vacuum profile with documented conditions. | Space-relevant component testing. |
Prospective customers may submit a brief description of their UUT, desired thermal or TVAC
conditions, and schedule constraints. TTi will respond with a proposed test approach, estimated
laboratory time, and a service quotation.
Formal work begins upon acceptance of the proposal and receipt of test articles.
