Dual Thermal Platforms can be separate or housed in a single chassis.
This system has the cryogenic valves remotely housed in order to allow for these 12 x 12 inch Thermal Platforms to be orientated vertically without affecting the orientation sensitive cryogenic valve assembly. The controller is able to control both platforms and is installed in a 3U 19 inch rack panel in this example of a very successful product we offer. There are many choices in selecting temperature testing gear, just picking the right cooling method involves considering many variables.
TotalTemp offers expertise and support before and after the sale to make sure you choose the right system doing the job in the best way.
Twin 12 x 12 Inch Thermal Platforms installed into a SD288 chassis. Thermal testing of Traveling Wave Tube Amplifiers and other devices with dramatically uneven power dissipation can easily be achieved with a dual zone thermal platform. Managing the heat produced by the electron gun side allows for the RF outputs side to be tested at various required temperatures. The Dual Zone Thermal Platforms allows the user to maintain safe controlling temperatures on either end of the device using a single Synergy Nano Temperature Controller. The Traveling wave tube is shown clamped with Light Duty Dual Clamp set. Sold as an option and mounting to standard platform hole patterns allows prototype work be performed with ease. The clamping force can be adjusted as needed to effectively hold the device under test to the thermal platform. Also shown here with a Low ESD Polycarbonate Probing Cover. Purge gas options reduce moisture and contaminants.
Thermal Platform design to test Traveling Wave Amplifiers to meet various test standards. These twin 6.5 x 7.5 inch SD49 Thermal Platforms make a 15 x 6.5 inch Dual Zone System. Shown here with a Synergy Nano Temperature Controller and two independent limit controllers for cryogenic safety valves. Standards known to involve thermal testing such as: of MIL-STD-202, MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-883, MIL-STD-188-100, MIL-STD-188-200, and or MIL-STD-188-300. All United States defense standard, often called a military standard, “MIL-STD”, “MIL-SPEC”, or (informally) “MilSpecs”, are used to help achieve standardization objectives by the U.S. Department of Defense. Environmental laboratory testing as defined by and started as the United States Military Standard that tailored an equipment’s environmental design and test limits to the conditions that it will be experiencing throughout its service life. Although prepared specifically for military applications, the standard is often used for commercial products as well. The benefits far outweigh the cost as all facets of the industry have seen improved product quality and increased productivity due to more efficient test products.
